LaPorte High School athletes paried up with Crichfield students to celebrate the number of books read for the Accelerated Reader program. The Crichfield students were very impressed with the Slicers that helped them maneuver through a series of basketball feats. The LPHS athletes were wonderful role models for our youthful admirers.
FOUR STAR AWARD
Crichfield School was informed that we have achieved recognition as an Indiana Four Star School for the second year in a row. This award indicates the school has met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and performed in the top 25 percent of all schools in the state in each of the four areas that are measured: attendance rate; language arts proficiency score; mathematics proficiency score; and percentage of students meeting state standards in both English/language arts and mathematics. Congratulations to the outstanding staff members, students, and Crichfield families. This award comes about because each group worked together in an effort to increase student achievement.
