Snow Make Up Days
Friday, March 13, 2015 will be scheduled as a regular school day to replace the January 9, 2015 school cancellation day.
All school and corporation offices will be open and both students and staff will report to school.
Winter is fast approaching. Please inform the office if there are any changes to your child's dismissal routines in the event of an early dismissal.
When your student is absent for any reason, please call the school before 9:30 a.m. to report their absence. If they are going to the doctor and will be late and arrive after 9:30 a.m. please call and let us know also. Our phone number is (219) 369-9016. We do have voicemail so you can call at any time and leave a message. It is checked regularly.
For the safety of our school all visitors MUST push buzzer outside to be let into the school. Visitors must sign in and out at the office and wear a visitor pass at all times.
Drop off and Pick up
To help your children, please allow them to walk to class on their own. Please do not go any farther than the foyer area. If your child needs assistants to get to class a staff member will help them. In the afternoon, please wait in the foyer area, your child will come to you. Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter.

Statements have been sent home.
You can wirte a check or pay online under parent access. If you do not have parent access, and would like it, please come in and fill out a form in the office.

The Indian Trail Elementary school supply list is available for download. This list includes supplies for grades K-5.
Collect Box Tops and turn them in each week.
Classroom Treats Policy
The Wellness Committee met on April 27, 2011, and formulated a policy addressing treats for classroom celebrations. The policy simply states:
“For the safety of all children, all treats furnished for students, including birthday treats, must be commercially purchased. These treats should be kept simple and in a form that is easy to pass out to students in the class.”
