Kingsbury Families,

Our spring drop-off/pick-up pilot was a success!  We were able to alleviate the traffic congestion at the four-way stop on 75 W and 400 S; therefore, the change is going to become a permanent solution.  We will be working in the next weeks to add additional signage and staff to create safe and efficient procedures.  Here are just a few reminders regarding our drop-off/pick-up procedures:

1) Please enter the parking lot on the south end.

2) Vehicles may NOT park on the grass in front of the building.  That area is designated as part of the line to get into the parking lot.

3) Vehicles waiting in line should NOT block the exit, and vehicles waiting to enter from both directions on 75 W should take turns entering the parking lot and drop-off/pick-up lane.

4) As you drop off/pick up students, they should get in/out of the car on the driver's side so that they can exit/enter from the sidewalk.

5) Vehicles that are ready to exit the drop-off/pick-up lane should go around the other vehicles on the right.

6) Vehicles should always stop at the crosswalk unless otherwise directed by a school employee.

7) Families have the choice of parking in the parking lot and walking across the crosswalk to pick up students OR staying in the drop-off/pick-up land and allowing us to assist lading students into vehicles.

8) When using the drop-off/pick-up lane, please stay in your vehicle.

9) Please be sure that students are escorted by an adult and do NOT use the crosswalk alone.

10) Always be courteous and kind!

The first weeks of school will be hectic and somewhat confusing for new Kingsbury families.  Please be patient as we teach and reinforce this new routine to our families.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation!

Mrs. Antos
