Attention Kingsbury families!

The Healthcare Foundation LaPorte and LaPorte Parks Department have created the Get Active, Get Fit! program to reward families for regularly being active and working to get fit. In order to increase participation in the program, the Healthcare Foundation of LaPorte has created the Get Active, Get Fit! School Challenge. This is a challenge among our LaPore Community School Corporation elementary schools which will take place April 19th-May 19th. The school that completes and turns in the most Get Active, Get Fit! activity cards (as a percentage of enrollment) will receive $500 to spend on a set of items from Moving-Minds.com. The items found on this site have the ability to greatly impact the daily activity of many of the winning school's students. Students may complete cards at school, at home, or a combination of both and can complete more than one card for the challenge. Each card requires 14 days of 30 minutes of activity. More information regarding the challenge and additional activity cards can be found on the attached flyer or at http://hflaporte.org/school-challenge/. Please help us win this challenge by getting active with your children!
