Child Care Information
Hours Child Care opens at 6:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m.
Fees 2022-2023 $30.00 registration fee (per family)
1- 5 days - $30.00 per child per week (AM or PM)
Closings, Delays & Early Dismissals When school is delayed, Child Care will be open at 7:00 a.m.
When school is dismissed early, parents will be contacted and students will need to be picked up from their Child Care Program Site.
When school is closed, there will be no Child Care.

FREE LOVE AND LOGIC PARENTING COURSES
Love and Logic helps guide parents with strategies and tips for effective parenting. La Porte Community Schools will be offering Love & Logic Classes for families interested in attending during the 2023-2024 school year. Schools with a high level of interest will be hosting the sessions for all to come. The six sessions will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on the most preferred night. Free babysitting for school aged children will be available and snacks will be provided. Please follow this link to sign up for the course.
LPCSC Child Care
Child Care is a self-supporting program which provides safe quality care for school-aged children during the hours when there is no adult supervision at home. The Child Care program includes crafts, recreation time, breakfast and/or afternoon snacks and quiet or study time.
Be advised space is limited in the Child Care programs.
Before and after school Child Care is available at Crichfield and Boston/ECS.
Transportation is provided to and from the remaining schools, Handley, Hailmann, Indian Trail, Kingsford Heights, Kingsbury, Riley, and Lincoln.
