Slicer Champions - School Based Mentoring Program

Our Mission: To inspire dreams, develop life skills, cultivate learning, achieve success, launch careers and be a Champion for a student.

While all students need consistent supportive adults in their lives, sometimes not all students have someone “in their corner." SLICER CHAMPIONS is a program designed to help students to set goals, problem-solve challenges, and celebrate their successes. Mentors are provided training and support throughout the mentoring relationship. The time spent with our youth opens doors to learning for both the mentor and mentee.

If you have questions about becoming a Slicer Champions mentor, please contact Amanda Lower, Slicer Champions Program Coordinator.

To reach Amanda, email her at alower@lpcsc.k12.in.us or call 219-362-3102 ext. 61027.
