We are thrilled to announce the launch of our inaugural Slicer Ambassadors program. This program will provide a six-session exclusive behind-the-scenes experience of our school district. It is open to individuals residing within the LPCSC boundaries who are interested in gaining insights into our schools and operations. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of district management, including business and finance, curriculum, athletics, operations, and more.

This first 2024-2025 installment will serve as a pilot run of the program based on the community's interest. In the subsequent years, interested community members will be invited to complete an application, which will be available every July.

About the Program

The Slicer Ambassador Program is an engaging learning experience for community leaders and school district parents to better understand LPCSC Schools.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Obtain first-hand knowledge of LPCSC functionality

• ### Engage in meaningful discussions with leadership on education topics
• ### Explore the programs and services offered to our students
• ### We ask that ambassadors commit to at least four of the six sessions. Our staff and students dedicate time to prepare for these experiences, and they deserve the opportunity to showcase their hard work to you.
• ### The sessions will take place on the second Thursday of the month from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.
• ### Ambassadors are guests in our buildings and classrooms. They must follow all safety protocols, not take photos of students or staff during their visit, and complete a background check.
