Important Update on School Nutrition Services

Our food service software provider, Titan/Linq, is experiencing technical difficulties that have resulted in slow performance and unstable transactions across multiple school districts.

As a result of these technical difficulties, the availability of a la carte items at the Kesling Campus and La Porte High School will be temporarily discontinued. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to establish a timeline as to when this problem will be fixed. Please be assured that we are working closely with Titan/Linq to expedite the resolution of these technical issues and return our nutrition service to its regular functionality.

Once the technical issues are resolved, we will promptly resume the sale of a la carte items and we will notify you immediately.

Despite these challenges, we will continue to serve breakfast and lunch to all students every day. For today, aside from the regular breakfast and lunch items, we will only offer water as an a la carte option at Kesling. At LPHS, the availability of a la carte items will be significantly limited. We want to clearly communicate that starting tomorrow there will be no a la carte items available at either building until the technical issue has been resolved.

Our top priority remains the well-being and nutritional needs of our students. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, and want to reassure you that we are doing everything in our power to resolve this issue as swiftly as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Feel free to contact us if you have any concerns.

Free Meals for All LPCSC Students for the 2023/24 Academic Year

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS La Porte Community School Corporation will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for meals served on the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2023-2024 school year.

All enrolled students are eligible to receive a healthy school breakfast and lunch at no charge each day of the 2023-2024 school year. All students qualify to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.  At this time, there is no further action required of families.

What is the Application for Educational/Program Benefits? CEP pertains only to meals and does not extend to other educational benefits. Some examples of other educational benefits may include: curricular material (textbook) assistance, test/exam fee reduction or waiver, and eligibility for other discounts or program opportunities. All students must pay curricular material (textbook) fees unless you have been notified in writing that your child has been approved for free curricular materials for the 2023-2024 school year.
