Slicer Ambassador Program

The Slicer Ambassador Program is an engaging learning experience designed to help community leaders and school district parents gain a deeper understanding of LPCSC Schools. Program participants are exposed to all facets of district operations, including business management, new programs, academics, student services, finance, and administration.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

- Obtain first-hand knowledge of LPCSC functionality

- Engage in meaningful discussions with leadership on education

- Explore the programs and services offered to our students


Program Details:

  • Eight-session behind-the-scenes look at our school district
  • Open to residents within LPCSC boundaries who would like to learn more about our schools
  • Topics include school budget & finance, athletics & facilities, early childhood experiences, career & technical education, curriculum & assessment, operations, special education programming, and more
  • Commitment: We ask that ambassadors commit to at least five of the eight sessions
  • Schedule: Sessions occur from 9:00-11:00 AM on the third Thursday of the month
  • Safety Requirements: Background check required; follow all safety protocols; no photos of students or staff
  • Group Size: Limited to 20 individuals for a personalized, hands-on experience
  • Recognition: Ambassadors will be recognized at the June 2027 board meeting
