Print this articleRun, Hide, Fight

The La Porte Community School corporation has adopted a crisis response tactic for students and staff known as Run, Hide, and Fight.  This particular response slogan and tactic has been widely accepted across the nation as a simplistic way to educate staff and students how to respond to an active threat if it were to occur at school.

Click on the link below to review a Run, Hide, Fight presentation/explanation. This will be beneficial in the event that you discuss the tactic with your children.  It is also important to remind children that our schools are in fact safe and the likely hood of us ever needing to use these tactics are slim.  Failure on our behalf to prepare, however would be negligence.
